I’m David and my wife’s Vana.
Considering that there are already so many Hawaii themed websites out there, why would we want to add ours to the crowd? Well, in a word, we love the place.
Our first visit to the islands was in 1989 for our 15th wedding anniversary. Since then we’ve been back more times than we can count. As we prepared for each visit over the years we soon realized there are really very few quality Hawaii websites out there. The vast majority are merchant sites whose purpose is to sell their product. Not really the best place to find unbiased information.
We envision MauiOnlineGuide.Com as an unbiased online Maui guidebook with a few other interesting travel related things thrown in. We take no money from anyone to publish a story so that we may remain unbiased. The sites are supported by the context sensitive Google ads you’ll see on most pages.
